Farokh is the manager at Kattimuttu in Kodagu/Coorg in India.
He is a retired sea captain who has sailed all seven seas. After his retirement in 2017, he took on the task of repairing the roof of the veranda on his in-laws' coffee plantation.
This is where he discovered his interest in nature and its rules and the interactions between its individual participants. Since then, he has lived on the farm, returning to the city of Mysore only for a few days to be with his wife and family.
By observing these connections with interest and implementing his findings and their results, he succeeded in developing from a ship captain to a successful farmer.
